Steps to Apply for Indian E-visa

To apply for an Indian e-Visa, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official Indian e-Visa website and select the type of visa you wish to apply for. There are several types of e-visas available, including e-Tourist Visa, e-Business Visa, and e-Medical Visa.
  2. Fill out the online application form and submit it along with the required documents. These may include a copy of your passport, a passport-size photograph, and proof of travel arrangements.
  3. Pay the visa fee online using a credit or debit card.
  4. After submitting the application, you will receive an application ID number. You can use this ID number to check the status of your application and to download your e-Visa once it is approved.
  5. Once the e-Visa is granted, you will receive an email with the e-Visa in PDF format. You need to take a print out and carry with you.
  6. You will be required to show the e-Visa at the time of arrival in India, along with your passport.
